In short

CatTower's Split PDF and organize pages is a free online PDF tool that shows every page of one PDF as a thumbnail, lets you keep a page range, delete pages or rotate them by 90°, and saves the result as a new PDF made in your browser.

  • Edits: one continuous page range, page deletion, and 90° rotation left or right.
  • Limits: one PDF of up to 20 MB and 200 pages.
  • At least one page must remain; an empty result is blocked with an explanation.
  • Privacy: the file is read in your browser and not uploaded to CatTower's servers.
  • Encrypted PDFs are not supported; forms, signatures and attachments may not be kept.

Use cases

  • Pull the chapter you need out of a long textbook PDF.
  • Drop blank or duplicate pages from a scan and turn sideways pages upright.
  • Send only the pages that matter instead of the whole contract.

How to use

  1. Drop one PDF or choose it. Thumbnails of its pages appear as they are drawn.
  2. To keep a single stretch of pages, enter the first and last page of the range.
  3. Delete pages you don't need, or turn a page 90° left or right from its thumbnail.
  4. Select Create PDF and download the new file. At least one page has to remain.

FAQ

Not yet. Each run keeps one continuous range (for example pages 3–10) and produces one PDF. To get several parts, run it again with the next range.

A PDF needs at least one page, so the tool stops you before the result would be empty and tells you why.

Yes. Rotated pages are saved turned in the new PDF, so they open the right way up in any viewer.

No. Thumbnails and the new PDF are made by your browser on your device and not uploaded to CatTower's servers. Other software on your device, such as browser extensions, is outside what the site can control.

Password-protected (encrypted) PDFs are not supported, and a damaged file may not open. Files over 20 MB or 200 pages are refused before any work starts. Forms, signatures and attachments may not be kept in the result.
